Long Island Jewish Medical Center
Hello, I have a 2nd interview coming up with a Nurse Manager for the Critical care nurse fellowship on SICU/CTICU unit @ LIJ. I have read posts on this site about LIJ and their units but that was 2ys ago! So, I'm reaching out to anyone who currently works at this hospital and anyone who went through the fellowship program and is currently on this unit. I would really appreciate your opinions. Thank you :)

Why choose critical care?
This is for all who currently works as a CCRN or who is interested in critical care nursing. Why? I'm contemplating beginning my nursing career in critical care--SCIU/CTICU to be more specific. I was called in for a 2nd interview for a critical care fellowship program that orients, and educates you for ONE yr. However, I'm beginning to doubt that I "got what it takes" for this difficult position as a new grad. Any thoughts?
