ugh that sux I already submitted my petition if I take it again before the 28th with they consider it if I scored higher? I got a 58% last time I still have one more attempt....ugh this sux....my friend was accepted this year with a 52% but she is a LPN I dont know if that had nething to do with it....

I read the packet 100 times lol it says Lpns may have priority and they do advance to ssecond year the nursr told my friend who got accpeted that people r doing poorly on the teas so I hope I'm good

If you dont buy it on the site you can buy the two practice tests for 37 bux they help alot because they are like exact to the layout of the real test ...there are a million house in ridley for sale and rent

I am in Ridley Park right now we just moved here a year ago I work In philly....I lived in brookhaven for 5 years my sister in law lives there now I liked it there....Ridley so family oriented though and big into sports i really like that :)

alot of the classes are the same like the psychs and soc and all but for RT u need micro chem and some other classes I forget....yes def keep in touch since we r close in age I can def show you around where about are you moving in PA?

I am set on RN bc I want to eventually get my MSN and do OB.....I did consider RT but then I realized I would have to take a crap load more classes and I am already done when it comes to RN.....I was thinking of doing nurse anesthetist because we have alot of those bc I dont want to be a doctor lol.......but the classes are constant ur not off for the summer holidays or weekends your like always working until you graduate and I couldnt picture leaving my kids on christmas....i don't think you would have a problem finding a job if you stay in good standing in the program...

she started part time 4 days 7-3 but they said after 6 months she would be full time paramedic would be harder with a kid bc they work a majority of the time doubles so you are constantly working....nursing here at hahnemann is always hiring and they are the only hosital left in philly hiring associates still everyone wants bsn but right now there are 22 positions open here in the hospital for RN's I don't see any for RT.....but if you do good in classes you may just get offered a job wherever you do your clinicals like she did.....

well she did her clinicals there so they offered her a job there and also chester county hospital offered her a job for more money but she said she liked childrens better......also you can look into Harcum they start every spring for night classes May I believe my friend is in her 2nd year....you need a 2.8 GPA but U have to take micro A&P 1 and 2 you need the TEAS for that but they accept a whole lot more students.... I can't go to day classes I have to work I am married with 4 kids lol so I have to go at night in order to keep our benifits our house and cars haha

dccc has paramedic no list and they also have respiratory therapy my friend just graduated top of her class no list and they got her a job at childrens hospital starting at 32 a hour she loves it.....i am also 29 and I have been waiting to get in this is the first year I have applyed bc they used to have a Net test I took it once and failed so I just started focusing on my pre reqs

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone was accepted into the DCCC nursing program for 2011 with low teas scores. I am hearing all different stories. They only accept 32 night students and I believe 90 something day I can only go night because I have children and we need the insurance and the money unfortunatly can't live of the hubby's income alone I want to submit my petition asap because i feel like I may get priority the sooner I petition I am just waiting on my child abuse check to come in the mail its been almost 2 weeks ugh....Well I am hearing LPN's get priority which I am sure is true bc a friend of mine got a 50 something and was accepted 2011......everyone I have talked to has scored low 50's and 60's it's a crazy test bc there aren't alot of questions per section so you have to get alot right in order to have a higher score....The science brought down my score I suck in science but I did well in reading english and math....I am just hoping there are people out there with low scores that aren't LPN's that have been accepted I am going to have to wait until DEC or JAn to hear so I am definatly going to have anxiety until then :) Thank You in advance Nicole

The math has some word problems easy like balancing a bank account...it seemed like there were alot of fraction like multiplying and dividing fractions and positives and negatives all of which i suck at but I wont lie i suck at math too guessed probably half and still passed it with alittle more than minimum......what they do is accept 96 day students and 32 night if you are not accepted the letter will tell you where you are on the list and alot of people either dont pay their 150 to hold their spot or they can't start at that time (something came up or whatever) so depending on where you are on that list they will notify you by july if you dont hear anything by july then you have to apply the next year.....I am praying ugh

Hi, yes I have read that packet I have been attending dccc for the past two years....I am hoping to start in the fall I am about to submit my petition....don't get discouraged its not that bad take the placement test, take the teas try to get a good score and then registet for classes in the spring.....I am done all my pre reqs what they mean by having some classes done is that for certain nursing classes u need to have llike ur maths English and science done so I could still take spring summer one summer two and then take classes in the fall with ur nursing classes.....and they are just recommending that u take classes before the teas u dont have to its basic reading english math and science .....u can do iit :)

I took the TEAS a few weeks ago and I found it to be ok not soooo bad the science I sucked in but the reading english and math I did above average....I am glad our scores are lower than others because alot of other schools I am reading about you need a 70% or 60% overall score....i did pass and I am waiting on my child abuse backround check so I can submit my petition I am going to be crazy for the next few months until they send the letters but I am hearing not alot of people are doing well in it...there were two other girls taking it with me and one got 62% and one got a 57% my friend took it twice and got a 47% and a 49% so she has to use her 3rd try

I am in deleware county In PA attending DCCC and trying to get into the nursing program for fall 2012. Our minimum score has to be a 50% so we are wayyyyy lower then the rest of you. We just recently switched from the NET to the TEAS and I actually liked the TEAS better. They made the faculty take the TEAS and the 50% is what the aveage was from the instructors crazy huh....
