Ok, I just got off the phone with them...im number 11 on the list. I do NOT have to apply again for fall 2011...The list never goes away..they just close it until next year when everyone on the list gets in if they are still interested. She also said that last year....10 people moved from the list into the program. The 10 that were left on the list got in for this fall.

From what I understood and I could be wrong... GB takes most of the people on the list the following year. I was told, I didnt need to take the NLN again....which would expire soon...so I assumed I didnt need to resubmit everything again next year. She had said that they contacted her, told her she was on the wait list from the year before and asked if she was still interested. She told me she got into great bay, I said "I didnt know you applied" and she said, " I didnt, I was on the wait list from last year" so I assume they used her previous application information.... Does that make sense? I did call about my number on the list but have yet to hear back. Dont they know how important this is to us :)

I agree with you. To boot, GBCC never wrote on the letter what number I was on the wait list, unless they stopped doing that. I'm in a moral dilemma of sorts. A friend of mine got wait listed at GB last year and got accepted (and went to) Manch. She ended up quitting or failing out.....but she never took her name off of the wait list at GB so now she is getting a second shot at nursing school, without having to write the dean or plead her case. If I am number 3 or 4 on the list...I am tempted to alert the school to this. What do you think? Would that be fair of me?

I applied to Manch, Concord and Great Bay. I was wait listed at Great Bay and have yet to hear from the other two. My composite score was a 131, I have A&P I and II completed as well as microbiology. I do not have a previous degree...although I have a bunch of credits. Hope that helps the curious minds!
