  1. I am already studying for my retake exam.... but with different and I would say BETTER resources! A good friend of mine that failed last semester as well said to go to Barnes and Noble and purchase the NCLEX Exam Prep from Pearson Education (the company that gives the exam and result...what a novel idea) it is a thorough review of all the systems which if done daily would take about 2 weeks to complete and a CD-ROM that has an interactive Computer Adaptive Test (CAT) to analyze your readiness to test...HELLO, that is exactly what I needed to prepare me for the exam!!!! I am sure if I had known about this prior to the exam I wouldn't have failed. Take a look at it, give it a try and hopefully come out with a PASS on the final result next time...that is what my hopes are for. After 2 days of studying from it I have already learned more than I thought I knew and feel much better about going in next time. It also has sections on Infection Control. I will let you all know how I do.
  2. Results are in......I failed! So apparently, the pearson vue trick does work on failing so far! Now on to scheduling test #2 and to study the areas I am weak on. Positive part is...I am familiar with the style the test is. I am not going in with such apprehension and can wiz through the tutorial to save my time next time.
  3. reinAya ~ I also took the NCLEX-RN yesterday for the complete 6hrs, but only completed 248 questions. I finally found the codes to register on pearson vue to check the results and to do the 'trick' everyone talks about, because I couldn't go to sleep last night without trying that first. Sadly it took me to the registration/credit card entry area (mo 'good pop up') that those that pass say happens. I am also trying to remain positive, and am anxiously awaiting the results on whether I can relax or actually reschedule that dreadful test day once again. Good luck to you!
