  1. Yes i saw that post. It's a bit old, I was looking for something a little more recent...Thanks though
  2. Thanks so much for that!!!! Anyone out there have any experience in moving and transfering their credentials to sweden?!?!?!
  3. I had a hard time finding a job as I had missed all the new grad programs and couldnt get into a Hospital. I ended up going to a Assisted Living/Rehab to get some experience!
  4. I use to be like you when i was a CNA until i went to work on psych. There are the patients that require the TLC and others that require the direct to the point direction, no coddling. Now i dont know your patients dx or frame of mine but when dealin with psych you sometimes need to be stern or you will get walked over. That is probably what those other nurses were thinking would happen. Takes time to read differnet patients and even then sometimes you end up switching your ways with them after an hr or even a day or two!
  5. Just looking for advice or personal experiences from people who have done or know about moving to Sweden from the US. Little info about me: BSN Will have 1.5 yrs experience as a nurse before i move not currently able to speak swedish but plan to study some before moving Moving with the Swedish citizen husband, so i will not be requiring a work visa(at least i dont think i will) because i will be applying for a PUT(i think thats what its called) based on family ties. Currently we both live in the US. Any advice would be appreciated. I really want to be able to work when i move or shortly there after. I read all the time on forums about english speaking midwives, perhaps there are dr's offices or such that are primarily english based...
