  1. i did got to a manch. info session and the lady said that they do have a waitlist and most years usually go right through the waitlist.. which seemed surprising but thats what she said!
  2. I did really bad on NLN.. it was much different for dental hygiene when i had to take the nln.. it was atleast a composite score of 50..but they mostly judge you on the pre reqs and the grades you got.. the nln was worth minimal points.. so i just took nln didnt study .. then i ended hygiene just this last fall semester and barelly met deadlines for 10'.. so i didnt get a chance to study or re take.. but my composite for what they told me for hygiene was a 78.. which is very low.. so who knows! whats meant to be will happen.. if not i will reapply and be more prepared next year! plus im expecting a baby sept. 15th and my hands might be very full!!:idea:
  3. A friend of mine got into the program after only one semester of taking college classes. I believe she had A&P1 done and some other class. She scored really well on her NLN, so thats why she got in. What is LRC? Not familiar with school/ program? must be lakes region?? im still waiting to hear from manchester thats the only school i applied to for the heck of it. I just finished my first semester of Dental hygiene and realized I wanted to change my major to nursing..
  4. well i was wondering the same thing. Looks like Im out of luck because I scored much lower then that! I think 90's are very good. I feel that the average is around the 70's and anything more is good, but I'm not sure. It depends on what the competition is. I heard rumors that most of the people who apply dont even qualify, and to those that do qualify most get in even if they get on waitlist. They have stressed that the NLN scores have to be high, but the teachers at the nursing meeting also said that the majority of people get in because other students either dont qualify ( didnt take NLN, straight out of highschool), or get waitlisted because students go to other schools. I dont know right with you on it all! Very nerve racking! I have every pre-req done and have nothing left to take so Im hoping I can get in.:uhoh3:
