  1. I am a little perplexed and was wondering if any nurses having experience with RecoveryTrek's drug screens may have insight. I have been in TPAPN since 1/2012 and have been 100% compliant. But this is 3rd week in a row I have been selected for random urine drug screen. I am confused. All my results have been negative, none of my specimens have been dilute and my urine creatinine levels are normal but on high end of normal. Is this just the randomization of it? Because it is becoming quite frequent now when it wasn't before, or am I missing something? I would appreciate any feedback. Thank you.
  2. Hi traumaRUs, you said that you work in several Fresenius dialysis units and they are recovery-friendly? Should I apply in person then? I applied online but have not received even a call-back. From what I understand, getting past HR is one of our biggest hurdles. I would appreciate any advice you may have. Thank you.
  3. Thank you back to work. This information is helpful. I thought based on my resume I was just undesirable (suprisingly) but as time went on realized maybe its starting in HR since I could not even get a callback. I will start thinking more 'outside the box'. Again, thank you. If you don't mind me asking, did you also have to do a Healthcare Profession Recovery Program?
  4. I've been an ICU nurse for almost 8 years and was let go from last job for drug diversion about 8 months ago. I am not looking for sympathy, maybe just some advice because I am currently in TPAPN and am 100% compliant. I just cannot find work- I cannot even find anybody willing to call me in for an interview even though my resume is quite impressive as far as experience. Anybody know of facilities willing to hire a nurse in recovery in DFW area? I am even willing to move to San Antonio area. Also, since I am not receiving call backs, does HR call references before moving forward with calling an applicant in for an interview?
  5. I am most definately an ADDer...was diagnosed as a child but did not get treated for it until my early 20's. I take 72 mg Concerta daily, it is quite possible to have ADD and be successful. My husband says my ADD keeps our lives interesting. It can be frustrating at times because it is not understood by some and not accepted by many. It is not a disability but more of a difference. You can be very successful with your ADD if you just believe in yourself.
