For everyone out there who figured that UCLA forgot about them - I am from out of state and JUST received a call to have another phone interview with the senior recruiter. I thought for sure I did not move on because I started this process three months ago! So hang in there and good luck to everyone!!

I have no idea! It's very weird..I mean all they had to do was look at my resume. When they sent you the original interview request email, stating you needed a 3.5 to secure an interview appointment, did you write back stating you needed a phone interview or not? I just emailed back the info. they required..

an6el177, I think you should definitely go to the interview and explain the situation to them. They have to understand that with such short notice it makes it very difficult for us to get everything adequately prepared. I do understand that they are an amazing facility with a high volume of applicants but if they want the best people working for them they may want to rethink their hiring process. I am going to attempt to get a phone interview because I just cannot afford to fly out for a couple days for a job I may not even get. Best of luck to you! Let me know how everything goes :)

I have interview Monday morning as well, but I live across the country! Flights are $1000 to fly out there this weekend plus I have an exam on Tues morning. What should I do?! They sent me an email Friday and expect me to be there by Monday morning!

I too received a "first phase interview" email on Monday afternoon. I have 3.6 and BSN, but have not heard anything back yet. Robotmonkey - if you don't mind me asking, what is your GPA? I am wondering if they are going by that first? Good luck with your interview!

Hi! I had the interview the first week of Feb. I applied to emergency services, peds, and medsurg. I hate waiting! What do you think?

Has anyone heard anything back from the UCLA New Grad Summer Program for 2010? I applied in the beginning of February and have only had a phone interview so far, with no feedback yet. Any info or others' experience would be much appreciated, thank you!
