  1. Hi, I am a FNP, BC, I chose to SPECIALIZE in FAMILY practice. When you choose your track (Family,Acute Care, Neonatal, Pediatric, Adult, Geriatric, Adult/Pedi/ or Family Psych) you have chosen your speciality. In the typical NP program, your application will state which track you are applying toward. The minimum of 2 years experience will help you decide your track or speciality- waiting until you are halfway through the program can yield mismanaged course focus.
  2. :balloons: Hi, Thanks for the advise and words of encouragement- I took the exam a few months ago and PASSED the first go around . I did some relaxation/aromatherapy for myself the day before the exam which helped me to "chill" during the exam.
  3. Hi Susan, Thanks for the encouragement. I reviewed the Mosby and Fitzgerald info and took the test and passed on the first try about 3 months ago. I have since been extremely busy at work! Thanks for the suggestions!
  4. :imbar I graduated in December with my MSN/ FNP track, I will be taking the ANCC FNP cert. exam in a few weeks. I have attended the Fitzgerald review as well as reviewing by notes from school. Does anyone have any suggestions for focus of review materials? I am currently working as a GFNP and would hate to lose my job because I don't pass this exam. Thanks for any suggestions or comments.
