  1. i'm new here, but i've been googling my heart out and have ended up here for answers! i had earned my aas in medical assisting in 2006. i have never actually worked as a medical assistant, exept for my externship, since i graduated... i have 5 kids and am a stay at home mom. i've decided that i want to become a rn. that's what i always wanted to be and really don't know why i only did the ma for 2 years......anyway, my question is,,,,what kind of education do i need to become a rn if i already have a aas in medical assisting? thanks!
