Hello to All! Hope summer is going good for everyone. Has anybody heard from our nursing faculty if we are going to have any class/course over the summer? I am checking my email and blackboard everyday still nothing.....Thank you!

Could someone please tell me if Nike or Sketchers white snikers would be ok to use during the nursing program for clinicals, or we have to buy special nursing shoes from the nursing store? thank you very much!

No, nothing in the mail yet...... I thought that it would be sometime in May, but some students in college saying orientation will be right before school

Question to the nursing students from last year: What is the Freshman Nursing Seminar NURS 104. One of the schedules offers it for only 7 wks, and then the other one is without any set time for full semester? I am just trying to look ahead and see what my schedule will look like. Thank you.

I got my letter today too!!!!!!!!!!!!! So excited!!!!

Nervous? of course! Two years of hard work in front of us, but to get here it took a lot too. I have read in other posts that we will have orientation some time may be in May. I hope when we get our letters we will get more info for the next steps. I will concentrate on finishing my micro and a&p II with good grades for now. Sincere congradulations to everybody:hpygrp:

My admission status is also displaying Nursing - "moved to student". I hope it's what i think it is........ would be nice to have the official letter in hand

Thank you so much, bananimal. You have cleared up a lot, as I was reading in other posts that there is TONS of reading involved. It is good that they will give us reading material earlier. Well I am gonna relax now a little bit:), and hope that I will get into the program. Thanks again.

The letters should be going out in mid April, that what I was told in Admissions office. Also, was wondering if students from the program can give us any suggestions or advices on what can we do over the summer that would be beneficial for the start. I would love to start reading earlier, if only I would know what.......Any advice or suggestion would be appreciated. :tku: Congradulations to all nursing students! and good luck to future ones!
