I recently got an Ipod touch and LOOOVEE IT! does anyone have any nursing apps that they request? I got a drug guide, med abbreviations, and a med info reference which is perty sweet. Whats your favorite or what has helped you in the field?!

I am currently in my BSN program and still have a year left. I have been thinking about maybe being Nurse practitioner. No idea what specialty. I am only 20 years old and will be 21 when i graduate from BSN program. If I decide on being an NP, how long do you have to work as a nurse before you apply to the program? I always thought about workin in ICU or ER because i like being where the action is but i dont know. I like lots of things but do not want to go into elder care, OB, or peds. Anyone have any information about some of the different types? Any info is appreciated :) thanks

Hey guys- I transfered a year and a half ago to South Carolina and had to redo a whole bunch of stuff. I am finally in my nursing program and my husbands job is planning on moving us to Indiana! Is there anyone that knows of nursing schools that take transfers? I already have 1 semester done and if I have to redo that, that is fine...But i rather not take more than 2 years to finish my BSN! considering ive already had 3 to get here! I was looking at schools in IN but they all have 4 year BSN tracks and don't say anything about transfers on their websites! This seemed unusual to me. Let me know if anyone knows of anything up there. We would be moving near Lafayette and I wouldn't mind driving an hour! Thanks
