Applying csu chico, fall 2010
You will probably need a car since I'll bet the 20 clinical sites at Enloe are filled already and you'll most likely be driving to oroville or the other feather river hospital. Other than that I rarely drive my car in Chico, bike all the way

Minoring in Spanish during Nursing School
Hmmmm, I definitely would love the upper edge in the hiring process when it comes time for that, especially being a California resident. But i'm wondering how fluent I will even be, especially having to speak in medical terminology in spanish with only a minor. I've gotten A's in my previous classes so its not the question of whether or not I can pass it, but whether I can handle working 20 hours and taking an extra upper division spanish class. I think I will stick with it but I'd love to hear some more opinions.

Minoring in Spanish during Nursing School
I'm in a pickle, I start nursing school in the fall and am about half way through my spanish minor, taking spanish 4 this semester. Do you think its a good idea to try and pursue this minor at the same time as nursing? It would be an extra class each semester but i'll also be working around 20 hours a week during school as well. Am I overextending myself and underestimating the time needed for nursing school? If I decide to drop my minor should I stick with spanish 4 this semester so I can put down on a resume that I took 4 semesters of spanish? Today is the last day to drop classes so time is of the essence! Thanks
