  1. Hello! I am a long time lurker. Currently working in LTC. Here is my situation....I got offered a job at the hospital as a CNA!! The hours are only part time and I just can't swing it with the way life is right now. I want to work there in the future though when I am more caught up with fiances. I already told them on the phone I didn't think it was going to work but they are looking into things and going to have someone call me back. If they can't offer me the hours I'd like....what is the best way to decline? I have been as polite and nice as I could have been. Thanked them ect but I think I irrated the nurse manager by decling. I'm a little scared because I have never declined any job before. Thank you for any help :redpinkhe
  2. Thanks so much, I appreciate it! The interviewer actually brought up my salary at previous jobs and how much I was making. I'm not going to take the job due to the fact that it made me so uncomforable and due to the hours I'm looking for they don't offer. I never thought of taking a tour, thank you so much!
  3. So, I went on my very first interview for a CNA and it was not what I expected at all. I felt that the interviewer was unprofessional. The interviewer told me things about the people who were leaving and why the position was open. The interviewer also made several just general unprofessional comments. I've been on interviews before for other jobs and overall just felt very uncomforable. I've figured in a field that values privacy that this was just totally uncalled for and I didn't want to work for this person. So, does anyone have any advice on what to look for when going on an interview? :) Thanks!!!
