I am in the Denver area, and I've been thinking for a long time about making a total career change and doing what I've always wanted - become an RN. Does it make sense to do an Accelerated BSN program? An ADN program? Here's my background info: -BS degree in Economics, received in 2002, GPA of 3.2ish -MBA received in 2007, GPA of 3.6 -No healthcare industry experience. I've been working as an auditor/accountant Which GPA will matter? Or is it more important what grades I receive in prereqs? I'm concerned my Bachelor's GPA will take me out of the running at CU, at least. Where should I take prereqs in the Denver area? Is my application weaker if I just take them at Community College? Programs I have considered include the Community College System ADN, Accelerated BSN at CU, Metro State and Regis.
