  1. What's the difference?
  2. You all replied with good points and convinced me to own up to my past mistakes and use it for motivation because I put myself in a position where I have to play catch up. Plus it would really suck to be charged with academic dishonesty lol.
  3. My first two years of college doing my pre-reqs I failed pretty hard and was put on academic probation. I got my stuff together and prioritized things. I started paying for my own tuition. I transferred to the community college where I already took some classes and they don't have the transcript from the university on record so my bad grades aren't in the community college's transcript. So far I now have a 3.2 and plan on bumping that up to a 3.5 by the end of this fall. I am going to apply to schools next spring. When reading various schools admission requirements, they mention I have to turn in transcripts from ALL educational facilities. My question is, what would happen if I don't turn in the my university transcript? If I do I surely won't get into ANY bsn program. Thank You
  4. I know this a lot of withdrawals, but i have 4 total. The nursing school I plan on attending says that you must not have retaken 2 of your pre-requisite courses. If i take those classes that i withdrew from again, is that considered a retake? I assume so, because a W is technically a grade, correct?

I'm currently going to UH main for my pre-reqs for the PV college of nursing and I just have a few questions about the course equivalents of UH. On the conversion grid it says the equivalent course of Intro to Chem is CHEM 1331 for UH main. However this course is Fundamentals of Chemistry. I then look more and I see that UH's Intro to chem class is actually CHEM 1301. Also for my statistics class at UH, the conversion grid says that UH's equivalent class is MATH 2311 which is Intro to Statistics. However, the other schools have psyc stats as their equivalent, and i know UH has one too. I'm sorta confused on which classes to take. Any advice from people who took their pre-reqs at UH and transferred to PV CON would help greatly, but i'll like advice from anybody else as well. Also, so far the only steps I have taken so far in getting ready for nursing school are pre-reqs and I plan on attending PV CON during FALL 2011. What other steps should I start doing to further the process of applying or getting ready? Any advice is welcome.
  6. Hello all this is my first post. I just completed my first semester and got a D in pyschology. Long story short i did not deserve it and i can easily receive an A if i retook it. My question is should i bother? My GPA is currently 2.75 with that horrid D, but remember that i only just began my 2nd semester so i have a good amount of time to bring it back up.
