Hey Julie.john, they have created a Facebook group MDC NURSING APPLICANTS 2017/18. If you decide to get a Facebook go and check them out. Some students have gone ahead and ordered the textbooks for the first semester to get ahead. We are all patiently or impatiently waiting for our acceptance emails. Again, good luck to every one!!

I'm not sure if this was for me...but I'm going to wait and see if I get an acceptance email and if not then I'm going to retake the HESI. I think that I might have to retake some sciences because I'm coming up to my 10 year mark...so we will see! Thx!!

Ok...my science GPA is 2.73 (ouch) and my competitive score is 71.1 (which is not very competitive)...Soooooo fingers crossed for me! Good luck to everyone!

I really wish I knew. The advisors told me that supposedly they were picking students with the highest GPAs and going down the list until they chose all the students. Took the TEAS entrance exam and I can't remember by scores back then but I got a 73% on the HESI. My GPA is 3.07 and I don't know how to calculate my science GPA. I have seen students get accepted with lower scores so I really hope this time is my time. Good luck to you all!!

Hi lilcubanrican, my all cum gpa is 3.05 and my science gpa is 2.7.... something. I had applied to generic full time. And now i am going to apply again to full time and part-time, (if offered ). What is ur gpa and what program did u apply for? Are u going to re-apply?

Hopefully I post correctly, I thought that I had replied to the previous question about the denial letters and apparently I freaked everyone out...Never my intention...Sorry ladies and gents!! My over all GPA sucks- 3.06. Im still trying to figure out my science GPA....any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I had to go to the medical campus to find out I didnt get in. So I applied to the spring term...full time only. They said my science gpa was low...looking back at my science grades I did pretty well, so I thought...got 3 C's the rest A's and B's...dont know what to do to raise my gpa score...any suggestions? Im terrible at science
