  1. Help! Transition from LTC to Hospital

    I graduated from nursing school in May 2008 and have worked in long term care since. I am anxious to work in a hospital setting and after looking for many months just been granted an interview. Can someone please suggest or help me with questions that are normally asked during interviews? Knowing someone at the LTC, I did not have to go through a normal stressful interview so I have no experience in answering questions or any idea as to what kind of questions are asked. Are interview questions just general or are they clinical questions pertaining to where you will work or is it both? What is it like to work on a telemetry floor in a hospital? What are some of the differences working in a LTC vs a hospital? Thanks in advance for all your help
