  1. Getting an interview as a new graduate

    Hi everyone: I am a new graduate nurse that just moved to the Albuquerque area and I hold a license in a compact state. Does anyone have any advice on finding employment as a new graduate nurse? So far, I have mainly interacted with the career websites and sent email to nurse recruiters when I could find contact info. What do you think the response will be to trying to communicate directly with the hiring managers? Would a visit to HR be a good or bad idea? Also, is there any advice on getting my application past the initial screening? So far, I have not been able to get an interview. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
