  1. Thanks! It is indeed terrible the way some hospitals manage their hiring process... I guess if I don't hear anything possitive tomorrow, when I am planing to give them my last call, I will forget about the whole thing...
  2. Should I ask what make them change their minds?
  3. Hi! Thanks for the advice everybody. The job offer came from HR, but yeah I understand it's a buyer's market. I am just amazed at how they are managing this situation. At least it's good to hear other people, so thanks so much. I am still open to more insight. Latrice11, thanks! You are very encouraging. Oh well.... Live and learn! :)
  4. Hello! Please I need help here. I don't know what to do after an interview. First, let me tell you the whole story. I had an interview in a hospital the last week of September. The interview was great and the unit manager finished the interview saying " I am sure we'll see each other soon" Great! - I thought. 2 weeks after that, the recruiter calls me and tells me that the are offering me a job. She said to send her all the hours I have worked since I graduated, and that she will have a written job offer next day or the day after. I did it that same day, and then....silence for a week! So a week after that conversation I called her back. She said that she was sorry, but that the unit manager told her to hold off on the offer. She said that I could call her next week. I did so, and she said that the unit manager still wants to interview more people. She told me to call in 2 weeks, that will be next Friday. What should I do? It's a great hospital, but they have been very unprofessional and I want to push them a little, I really want that job! I know, because the manager told me so, that they have several openings sure to re-desing of of floor. Please advice! It's like a dream job, and a great opportunity...

  6. Thanks! I didn´t know if going to the actual place would be a good idea, but I will try it, I think it gives you more opportunities.
  7. Hello, I just passed my NCLEX and I am waiting on my license. I am not sure what to do meanwhile . I am from out of the country and I am not very familiar with the hiring process. Can I start applying for a job before I have my license? Can I say "pending" or something like that? Do I always have to apply online or can I go to human resources in a hospital to turn in my resume? I would really appreciate if someone takes a little bit of her/his valuable time and give some advice. Thanks beforehand! :) Laura
