is it hard to transfer nursing school from liberal arts major?
even though i am goin' to the same school? shouldn't that be advantage for me, tho? i don't understand why i would be treated the same with ppl who are from other schools, too like think about UC schools they are def favorable to in-state students. i mean i don't understand why i couldn't get benefit. just that's what i don't understand.

is it hard to transfer nursing school from liberal arts major?
Hi. I am currently having senior year and about to choose the college for next year. Duquesne actually has nursing program and i don't know how good it is but anyway.. If I get in as liberal arts program which I already did, how hard would be to transfer to nursing program? I applied late and that's how i couldn't apply either nursing or pre-pharm. is it really hard for majority schools? one of my friends goes there n she said it's really hard cuz pretty much all seats are reserved? so, do they actually start with fully spaced, tho? what about the students who are applyin' after their bachelor's to get master's degree? I am really confused about this process. cuz if it's not really hard, i would love to try. also, if i go to duquesne and take exact(pretty much similar) courses as pre-pharmacy school students do, shouldn't i get more advantage tho? cuz it's much more easier to transfer n everythin'! so, please let me know whether my thought is right or not! THANK YOU :)))

is it necessary to go to high ranking nursing schools for RN?
yeah. actually i do live in america and pennsylvania but the state don't really matter since i'm from somewhere, anyway i don't have certain state that i really wanna go to i do want to go to city tho bcuz of some reasons like part-time job or transportation u know i'm not gonna have a car prob til i get a job well i have good gpa and my sat score isn't too bad i don't even know whether this is the way to choose nursing schools! well wat else.. i think my parents would love me to go to state universities if i want to go to some good state universities which provides cheaper price with good education, wat kinds of things i should have? is it the same as other LAC programs ? awee n i really want to be CRNA eventually it's my hope! Thank you so much! :) (and thank you so much to all who replied!!) and i think i put this post in the wrong place :S awe n one more thing (sry ) which place do you prefer to study nursing? i mean the city where you can be exposed the most. idk whether new york is the good place for nursing but well i cannot think of certain places that have many great hospitals so that you know when you go for clinical trial you can go to the place where it's busy but various to do

thank you for your comment. i'm on my way of choose & pick. but i really have no idea where to start and how to narrow my option. i'm not gonna limit IF i feel worth it - great education and facility, and sth else how tough was it to transfer? cuz i need to get BSN degree too. I wanna be CRNA and i heard it's pre-requisite would you mind if you tell me where u went and how u liked it?

is it necessary to go to high ranking nursing schools for RN?
but when you especially go to college for bachelor's degree, wouldn't that be one of big consideration? since i'm also thinkin' about getting master's degree and i'm almost goin' to school 7 years it's great if you go to real good college and graduate becomin' RN? however, i'm not even havin' citizenship here and i'm not legally possible to work unless i get sponsor from my hospital or watsoever. i do agree that it's better to go to prestigious school IF you can afford all that but i don't also think it's bad idea to go to cheaper schools but havin' good education like private's have if you don't mind, could you tell me where you go to or graduate from? i would consider if it provides real good circumstances and also guarantee my job right after graduation!

is it necessary to go to high ranking nursing schools for RN?
Hi. I am having a high school senior year. I am going to go for RN and I am on my way to choose school. I know it is totally simple and obvious question. However, if you think that all whether they are going well-known schools or not they have to take the same test and get the same license. I know it could give you better skills but it's a lil expensive.. like UPenn or Columbia They have real good nursing program but it's ivy league and never cheap most of all, i'm an international student and there are so many limitations to get scholarhsips of FA. give me some suggestions please Sea
