  1. So I know everyone is wayyyyyyy ahead of me. I'm literally just starting my "journey" on becoming an RN. I just need some advice and encouragement. I'm only finishing up my pre-reqs now and everyone keeps telling me I'm making a mistake trying to be a nurse at Broward. All I hear about is how hard it is, how likely it is to be dropped from the program, and how competative it is. It's already overwhelming just trying to get into any of the classes because everyone and their brother is trying to be a nurse at the school so they fill up fast. I just want to know if it really is impossible to suceed in this field at broward or if it is all a scare tactic? I'm not rich by any means, but not poor enough to get any financial aid, and my biggest fear right now is that I'm wasting a lot of time and money for something that I'll most likely fail at. It's definetly discouraging at Broward and I don't know any nurses, especially any that went to Broward, to ask for advice. Anything would help at this point. Thanks :)
