I completed my fafsa right after I completed my taxes this year. I haven't received an acceptance letter from UAMS but I received financial aid award amounts?? I read on the site that you could apply to the programs but will not be rewarded until you are actually accepted. Today is Saturday so I can't call the school. I will call on Monday morning but can anyone shed some light on this if you know anything about the rewarding/acceptance process. Thanks

Also you may want to try some of the youth Residential facilities. Many have pool shifts and you could very well work Fri night Saturday all day and keep your sundays. Even may be able to help M-T evenings when out of class. Just to name a few in the area. Pinnacle pointe hospital. Methodist children's home, youth home, inc., Center's, and bridgeway. Apply for the PRN positions. Good Luck!

I agree "don't stress it too much" it's still really early to stress the acceptances. Now after Wednesday I'll be loosing my mind waiting on filler spots if it comes to that. But for now HAPPY THOUGHTS!!!

not really sure of her GPA above a 3.2 I'm sure. Also another friend who lives near her with a 3.9 who hasn't heard anything just yet.

I was looking at some of last years message boards and saw that around Feb 23,24 many were receiving letters. I too don't want to get that letter stating "you forgot to take this class". Did receive an email suggesting to go ahead and apply for CON scholarship.

Looks like the UAMS deadline is fast approaching, looking to see who all waiting to find out status for starting the BSN program summer 2010. Good luck to all awaiting.
