  1. Yes that is a question I am going to ask and hope that with the new documentation they will at least give me the consideration. I do work at and ITA in the emergency room and have been for 3 plus years. Not to toot my horn but I have done so very well in each and every situation and know I would be a great nurse and also have been told that by many. If it were not for the hand written test uggggggg. I am so serious and just want so much for the opportunity to get this chance with accommodations to help with my issues.

  3. there is no way to come back from it, I would need an 85,85 and 85 on final and with my testing issues not sure that is foreseeable. I am working with dr's getting the proper help for my testing issues just not sure if it is really too late. I so wish I would have been tested prior, when read the exam I bombed I got all the questions correct. Just something about the hand written test, my fault just hoping for the best but not getting my hopes up at all
  4. I just found out i bombed a test in my 3rd semester of RN school. I am going to withdraw as I have no hope of passing this class. I have used my one mulligan a few years back so I have no idea what to do now as they will not readmit me. I am only 22 years old. I still want this more than anything and do great on the hands on/clinical portions just have text anxiety and being treated now for that. It is just a little too late I am afraid. Does anyone know of anywhere on-line I could go to finish my last 14 credits? Any help would be appreciated.
  5. I am looking for some assistance, I failed my first semester nursing concepts by 3 pts. I am not sure if they will let me back into the program. I want to become an RN so bad and on the hands on I am great, but I have such text anxiety it really hurts. I know the material when asked, just have written issues. Has anyone been in the same boat and if so did you try and get testing accommodations or has anything else worked. I was schedule to take a few summer classes, not sure what to do at this point. All of my pre req's are completed, only nursing classes left. Excelsior is not an option as I am not a licensed LPN
  6. Thanks, I just finished a&p I/II, Chem, lit and math stats, thought it may be helpful, but I will take your advise. All I need is a 65 or better, not sure why I panic as a 3.0 student.
  7. Does anyone have a version 5 TEAS study guide I could use. I would be happy to pay for it. I am trying to find a rental but have not come across one as of yet. Thanks for the help.
  8. No it was a major family illness that derailed me. My focus was on my family and not on school as much as it should have been. I was in a the school for the fall had I passed A&P by May, but since that seems like it will not happen, I lose my spot and have to reapply. I will go back into the 1000's of application to be considered again, It goes on a point system, before my H.S. gpa was great and got me in, my college is not as good, so I have no idea where I will fall. I will have to wait until Spring for sure, if I do not get in, I will have nothing to take as all of my pre-req's will ben done.
  9. yes the have a&p in the summer, but it is only 5 weeks and they did not advise I take it. How it works here, it I withdraw, my seat is now gone. I would need over 3.0 gpa which I should be around 3.17 with the W and then a quality point system. I was looking at out of state schools, but the bad thing is that I have a partial scholarship from the hospital I work at and that will be out the door if I leave. I have no one to blame but myself, just would stick having to take the last few of my pre-req's in the fall and then be turned down. I would either take a semester off, pay for more elective classes, or find a new field which I do not want to do. Just when you think you have things going well, the bottom falls out.
  10. My A&P II grade I am embarrassed to say is a 58. They said I would need A's the rest of the way to get a c which is required. Meeting again this week, not sure if I just withdraw so it does not hurt the grade and then look at other schools outside the NY area as all are full in my area.
  11. It was me totally. I had major health issue that caused me to lose focus. RE: ECPI, we live in NY, do they have dorms? I looked at the site and it did not have a course list either.
  12. I am not doing well in my A&P II class. I am thinking of withdrawing and starting over at another 2 year school. My area has no openings and I am looking for a school that maybe starts in the summer or at different parts of the year. I also have the option of gen. studies and then to reapply and hope for the best, but the bad grade in A&P puts my GPA just under 3.0
  13. I am looking for help, I am a male in an RN program and I just found out I got a nurse assistant position. My problem is that I am 6'6" tall and need large scrubs 36-38" inseam. Can anyone help on a place to find them?? Thank You
  14. I am hoping to ge the HESI test guide e-mailed to me
