  1. That's exactly what she said to me - I almost died when she said we would have to wait until April to find out. She told me if I don't get accepted in April to reapply in July for the October class. That's a long time to wait!
  2. It went well, they didn't ask very many questions. The lady who interviewed me and asked why I was interested in nursing and where I saw myself in 5 years. She works with my mom and asked me questions about her and the other woman who was with her (can't remember her name) is neighbors with my boss so they both got really off topic. I have a feeling maybe they will call people for second interviews since they weren't very thorough, it's kinda weird that they would judge who makes a good nurse based on their math skills and not on why they would make a good nurse. Most nursing schools ask a ton of questions like your interviewing for a job. They were very laid back and they were packed with people getting interviewed and people taking the math test. They were also doing the CAT test that was rescheduled from the snow so things were really crazy. I definitely wouldn't stress about the interview - Hope this helps :)
  3. My friend in the program said to study on math.com - Fractions/decimals/percents and such :) Good luck
  4. I passed the CAT last Wednesday and I am scheduled for an interview Thursday the 4th at 10:00 AM. I have been studying for the math portion of the interview all week and practicing interview questions. I have a friend who is currently in the program, she loves it. The LPN class #25 (one of the current classes) have a facebook - you could probably go on there and ask them questions :)
  5. I think the demand for new nurses depends on where you live - I live in East Tn and the hospital nearest me has at least 15 opening for RN's and more for LPN's and is well known for hiring new nurses. Don't give up hope =]
