  1. CNA required to be an LPN in Illinois?

    Hi Everyone! I have done a lot of research on becoming and LPN in Illinois but I have noticed that some programs require you to have a pre-requisiste of being a CNA before getting into a program. Is this something that the State of Illinois requires or is this used as a barrier to entry into nursing programs. I'm just trying to plan out how to do this and what to apply for first. Thanks for all of your help!
