  1. Well I took the test and failed now I feel horrible and stupid!!!!! If you read this Danigirl please let me know if you passed on your first try. It almost like they want people to fail because of the time restraint. I mean there are 90 questions that you are trying to answer in 30 minutes and we only go 15 minutes for the reading comprehension. So do I just mark whatever I can to get all the questions answered because unless you are a speed reader its just not possible.
  2. Good Luck! I took it and they only gave us 30 minutes to answer 90 questions for the first part and 15 minutes for the second part (reading) and we spent another 15 minutes on filling out the paperwork. I knew after I took the test that I didn't pass because I was so nervous that the time went by so fast. There are no science questions and Im debating on retaking it again for an extra 20 bucks. I know that I am not stupid I bought the book and studied for 3 months and I have an associated degree in medical assisting but what they do at watts is crazy its as if you have to just mark the paper and hope you get it right within the time allowed. The book that I bought was the one recommened by them and it states that the allowed time is an hour but not with watts. When we left and got on the elevator we all looked at each other and asked if we finished and one girl stated that she probably got 3 of the reading questions cause you have paragraphs to read but there is noway that the way they are doing this stuff is correct and its not fair to the people who want to really do their best and not just answer questions you know. Yeah it's great that some people can go in and score into the 90 percent percentile but everyone is not like that. It's all about MONEY because the first thing they ask is do you have your money. If they allowed people the correct time there would be a lot more students going there and if you take it a second time and fail that it you cannot try anymore. So good luck! Hope it helps
  3. I wanted to know if you took the pre-admission test once? I thought the time was limited but I found it quite crazy. We had only 30 minutes to answer 90 questions for the first part and 15 minutes for the second part of reading which consisted of 40 questions did you experience the same thing? I don't know maybe Im stupid or something but we spent 15 minutes doing the paperwork. In the book it states that your suppose to get and hour what the ham you know. Now I dont know if I should have just marked answers instead of trying to actually get them correct any advice?
  4. Hi guys, I have scheduled to take the Watts School of nursing test in Feb. and have seen old post about it. I went on the website for the sample test and they were too easy. Has anyone recently in the last month taken the test and how does it compare to the sample. I did get the book that they suggested and I have been studying it. I took the NET test at a previous school and missed the math by three points but the NET has algebra on it and Im not a fan of Algebra:eek:! I received a Associates Degree in Medical Assisting about 6 months ago and have not had any luck with jobs. I have been a CNA for about 3 years, so I figured I would try at nursing. If anyone can give me some advice about the test it would be greatly appreciated!!!
