  1. i too passed on second try!! i had taken the nclex pn right out of school and failed!!.. i was so devastated that i put it out my mind and didn't decide to try again. i was embarrassed and ashamed! i am expecting a child soon and decided i needed to try again so i can make more money for upcoming baby. i have been out of school for six years!!.. i kept putting it off and making excuses because i didn't know how to study nor where to start. i asked all my friends i knew took the exam for tips and worked from there. i finally set a date because i had let time run out.. i officially had 2 weeks before att expired. i got the kaplan book for pn and read it 3x!! it really gave me a lot of perspective on how to pass the exam. i also bought the kaplan q bank and tried to answer as many questions as possible in three days.. ( i got the q bank less a week before exam) i took the exam on thursday and just like everyone else.. i was sure i had failed again.. i cried like a baby after i was done...( could have been emotions from pregnancy). none the less i tried the pvt and that put my mind at ease after the 1st 24hrs after exam. i had a terrible headache from looking at the computer screen so much and the stress of wanting to know the results.. i checked my profile a million times and read all the blogs on this site for encouragement... this has really been a support group for me.. 48-49 hours after i started exam i finally could check my quick results... :redbeathei prayed to god throughout this entire process and asked him to give me the strength i need to pass this exam. i passed!!!.. i am sooo excited and shocked!! i mean i put the hours in but still felt i needed more time to go over all the questions i had paid for... this is truly a dream come true and say to all of you that still have to take it.. you can do it!! and if you don't the 1st time ( or any other time after that) it is okay to keep your head high and try again by doing efecctive strategies than the last time.. good luck to you all!! if you have any questions please feel free to ask... thanks for reading my story.
