SDSU Fall 2010 BSN program
My webportal says I'm admitted to the school, but as a prenursing major. I haven't received an email or a letter saying I'm accepted or denied into the nursing program. I'm assuming its because I applied for fall but I was still in progress for classes this spring. Does anyone know if this means I'm out of the running, or are they considering me for the spring 2011 semester now? I called the nursing school but they're closed until July. The admissions office has no idea and told me to contact the nursing school =/ My stats are: 3.82 Pre-req GPA 3.76 Cumulative GPA 92% on the TEAS 100 hours of community service

Wow you must've worked hard in your classes, those are awesome grades! Did they count your cum. gpa as 3.2 or 3.9? I haven't called but I looked on the sdsu nursing website and just looked at the criteria page they had up. I'm assuming its still valid for those of us applying for this fall. I do wish I had work experience. The points would help me out!

Congrats Coriander! and if you wouldn't mind, could you post your stats? I'd like to see what range they're looking for. Also, do they give you points based on your gpa before this semester? What I mean is, I'm still finishing up Microbiology and Chem 11 so are the points awarded for my prereq gpa going to be the classes I've finished only? Or do they start awarding points and such after you turn in your spring grades?

SDSU Fall 2010 BSN program
Have you checked assist.org? My counselor told me to just follow that plan since its the articulation plan thats written by the college itself (in this case, SDSU). I'm not sure where you can find the average of accepted students.. I've heard the cut off was 70 points because the program was so competitive but of course, it depends on the applicants for that year.

SDSU Fall 2010 BSN program
Hey guys, I'm also applying for Fall 2010 from a CC. I was wondering; did you get confirmation that they received your fall application? I just turned in my final packet and I started thinking, "What if they never received my fall application to the nursing school?" Of course, a panic attack ensued. I figured I'd call the school tomorrow just to be sure, because I mailed it on November 25th and on my little receipt from usps, it had a projected date of getting there on November 30th exactly. Then again, who knows with the postal system..
