Hello All I am currently in school and getting my remedial classes out of the way and am enrolled in nursing. However I think I am changing my mind to be a sonographer. I live in NYC and believe it or not can not find ANY schools here... ?? Is this something that is hard to find training for? I am so confused, I know one school Sanford- Brown everyone says do not go, it's not accredited. I saw something online there were 3 options for radiology programs. 1)Hospital Certificate Program (they are NOT going to do that in NY, I can tell you that for sure) @) 2 yr associate degree (but from WHERE???!) 3.) 4 year bach, (obviously to follow) HELP!!
  3. So I am currently in my first semester at a community college (to eventually be in nursing...) The way it is looking right now, I have approximately a year and a half of remedials (english, psych, chem, bio) I know education is never wasted but I am also trying to get training to be an RN as fast as possible (I need out of my current job, BAD!) So anyways, I am looking for vocational schools that start you off in a 2 year program (and starts STRAIGHT INTO NURSING, which is the whole point anyway) I can not find anything in NYC??? HELP!! It is the same training I would imagine, an RN is an RN, reguardless. I am just wondering why in this huge city I can't find this option??? Thanks in advance
  4. I am just getting back to school and going to register this coming week. I have a quick question though. I am considered a transfer student even though my 44 credits from another college did not actually transfer so I am starting with 0. My friend is also going for nursing and she already has an associates in a different career but is not going for nursing as well. The question is will we have different degrees like she'll have a bachelors in nursing as an RN and I will only be getting an associates?? Or it all depends on the program?? confused... thanks
