  3. Hi, thanks very much for your help! i have been and spent 4 hours with the team leader now, she is retiring and wanted to get a feel for the place, the clinical mangager is fully aware that i have done this and she will be interviewing. not sure about presentation, probably will be one, something to stress about later!! job has just been approved and i am trying to get ahead of the game because i really want the job. the government policies are the things which seem to go in one ear and out the other with me, politics is not my strong point!! although did manage to get a first in my degree... there must be brain in there somewhere!! thanks again, i have lots of food for thought.
  4. thank you, that is really helpful!
  5. A 'band' replaced the old grading system of nursing under agenda for change. A band 7 is the equivalent of a G grade sister
  6. hello!! This is the first time I have tried anything like this, please bear with me!!! In July I completed my spec. practitioner district nurse degree and have been patiently waiting for a post to apply for. I was hoping to ease myself in with a band 6, but nothing has come up. Now there is a band 7 district nurse team leader post being advertised and I am wondering what sort of things I will be asked in interview and what I should look at!! The whole interview thing scares me to death!! Any suggestions would be welcome!!! thank you
