  1. hi-i became so interested and focused on working in the nicu with babies i guess because iv been babysitting for a few years now- from newborn 1 month olds up to 6yrs old.im actually have a steady job babysitting my neighbors kids,a 1 month old, 3 n 5yr old,all three of them. i love babies an kids. thats how i know i want to work with babies,in the nursing career.its my interest,i love them! so im going to volenteer to get me some experience in the hospital. thanks again to all,keep in touch,and any other info please let me know.much apprieciated :)
  2. hello again- im definently going to get into the volenteering. if anyone is familar, could you please let me know what does a cuddler exactly do? i will keep you all updated with what i get into in the volentering, with or without babies, it will give me good experience. thanks to everyone for all the helpful information. :)
  3. hello everyone- once i graduate from highschool, i want to get into the nursing career (nicu). i would like to know if there is anything i could d now involving babies,like volenteering at a hospital? i heard somewhere its called volenteering to be a rocker or cuddler for the babies in a hosp?! anyone know if that is true or not? im 16 yrs old and live in new york. if anyone has any info for me involving this please let me know, itll be much apprieciated. -thanks in advance :)

  7. hello everyone-i have a few questions about the baby nursery-after i graduate from highschool, i want to get into the nursing career. i would like to work in the healthy baby nursery, and once i get experience with the healthy babies for a while, i will probably want to go into nicu. if anyone could please let me know the process to getting there,from highschool,on..etc.i would apprieciate it very much. also is there anything i can do now involving this, until i am finished with the rest of my highschool year.maybe in a hospital?- -thank you all in advance :)
  8. hello everyone.i have a few questions..i am recently going to be homeschooled, after i graduate, i would like to work with the healthy babies in the newborn nursery,in a hospital.i live in new york. i believe a nicu nurse works with the sick premature babies. but whats the name of the nurse that works with the healthy babies in the nursery, are they called the same(nicu)?? i also would like to know the process of becoming a nursery nurse, from highschool,college etc...if anyone could give me information on this,i would apprieciate it very much. -thank you all in advance :)

  14. Hi everyone, Im new to the board.I have some questions on becoming a OB/GYN nurse. I would like to know after graduatng from highschool where should i go from there? Also is there anything i could do during the rest of my highschool years involving OB/GYN? Once i get into college how many years is i until i am a OB/GYN nurse, what type of tests do i need in order to get into a college,also On average what do my grades need to be in highschool?
