  1. Hi Everyone! I've been an LPN in Illinois for 3 years and I'm moving to Arizona in January. I have already sent in my application for endorsement of my license a few days ago. I was hoping to get some information about good LPN to RN bridge programs in Arizona. One program that caught my eye was University of Phoenix's LPN to BSN program. Anyone out there go through this program? I'd love to hear more about it...I also have researched Estrella Mountain Community College and Glendale Community College and still currently looking into more programs/colleges in the area. Looking forward to your feedback, Jen
  2. Hi everyone! My parents and my boyfriend and I are planning on moving to the Phoenix, AZ area in a few years from Chicago, IL and we're very excited! My Mom has an active RN license and has been practicing since the late 70's, My boyfriend is an LPN, and I am an LPN but plan on moving there after I finish RN school. Just wanted to know what will be the process for reciprocity when we all move there. I've visited the Arizona Board of Nursing website but couldn't really find any info. Any help or advice is much appreciated. -Thanks Jennifer
  3. Hi I'm new to allnurses.com and I think this is a great forum for all nurses and aspiring nurses on all levels. Which is why I need some input from my wonderful colleagues out there. I have been an LPN for about a year, got my experience working the floor in a local nursing home and loved it. When it came time to search for a LPN-RN Bridge program I found it more frustrating to look for this kind of program than looking for any other kind of nursing program. Before I became an LPN I finished the majority of my pre-reques at a community college with the exception of microbiology. Is there any community colleges out there in the suburbs or city colleges of Chicago that do not recognize boundary lines besides Oakton Community College? My local community college (College of DuPage) does not offer a bridge program yet unfortunately. I'm kinda feeling hopeless and wonder if I could ever get into a ADN program. I know there are a lot of LPN's in Illinois that have been in this situation. I would really appreciate any feedback about the possible options I have. Thanks.
