I am currently working as an RVT and have been for 6 years. I start nursing school on Monday!! I love being a registered vet tech but feel there isn't the respect that we deserve, or the benefits, compensation, ect... I can't wait to start this new adventure!!!

Hi! I recently got accepted to IUPUI's nursing program. I also was offered the opportunity to do the honors program involved with my program. The information I received with my packet stated that it was a good option for people interested in research or students wanting to go into a master's program. I definitely am interested in getting a master's degree, but I'm not sure that I want to do research, so I'm not sure if this is something I should do...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

I was wanting to know what a new grad can expect salary wise in Indiana, either hourly or yearly. Also which areas of nursing offer higher paying jobs. Also in this economy how easy is it to find nursing jobs right now. :idea: Please help...very worried nursing student...
