  1. Hey- I took the day shift position at Rockledge's ICU. I'm on general orientation this week and will start on the floor next week. I'm excited! Let me know if you move here :)
  2. oh boy...well, i got the job at both facilities but I've already chosen Wuesthoff because they offered me a better package- higher pay and seemingly better benefits. I hope the ICU turns out to be an okay place to work!!! also the Cape seemed so small that I felt the job might be kinda boring with lower acuity, etc. well I'd appreciate any additional input- thanks guys!
  3. Thanks for the input. I'm already going to be living in an apartment in Cocoa though, so I think that would be too far of a drive. Are Cape Canaveral and Rockledge decent at least?
  4. moving to Cocoa, Fl....which hospital is a best? I'm an ICU nurse. Thanks!
  5. I'm moving to the Melbourne, FL area in February- looking for a day shift ICU position, 6 yrs experience. Hoping someone can recommend which hospitals have the best ICUs? To me, the most important part of any job is the people you work with- so I'm hoping someone out there can recommend an ICU with a good work environment, where people get along and help eachother. And good management is also pretty important to me. I'd like a good variety of patients (not looking to specialize) and I also prefer high acuity patients- I like to be busy, can't stand being bored! Thanks guys!
