I am actually living in Newport, NJ, but next door to PATH to city, which is fairly short ride to mid-town (I believe)? I am completely unfamilar with the subway, which is another hurdle for me to figure out...anyway, do you have any recommendations regarding hospitals to avoid/or ones to try first? Thanks so much for the reply, I am really starting to feel very lost and without any ideas regarding where/how to start this process; though that may have to do with recently moving to the area, not knowing anyone but my husband, and since unpacking and exploring the nearby area, not having a lot of human interaction during the day while my husband is at work...venting, sorry, anyway, thanks for responding and any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I have recently relocated to NY from NC and am preparing to start my job search. I am completely unfamilar with the hospitals in the area and most of what I have found on-line is for traveling nurses, or through agencies. Should I go through an agency to find the best fit? I have 3 years experience as a staff nurse on a med-surg floor, 3 years experience as a hospice nurse, and several months as a drug safety specialist nurse consultant. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
