  1. Hi Everyone! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!! Granted provisional acceptance today!!! So excited! For anyone who has not yet been accepted, I called yesterday and asked why I had not heard anything yet. They told me that originally they were going to let everyone know by March 15th, but now that date has been extended to April 15th. So, don't give up yet. I will say my prayers that all of you get in! Good luck! As for those already accepted, I see that you all have started a facebook page. I have requested to join. Not sure how this works, but can someone accept me? Thanks!
  2. I just wanted to say good luck to all of those who have upcoming interviews!!! And to those of us who have already interviewed... as I keep telling myself, "Patience is a Virtue." The waiting is hard, but really it's just right around the corner. 40 days and counting!!!!!
  3. Hi Everyone! I had my interview yesterday and felt pretty good about it. The competition here is pretty tough! They said 750 applied, 250 interviewed, and they are taking 60. Wow!!! Now we just get to play the waiting game...till March 15th. That seems like forever to sweat this out! My hope is that we all made it in!!! Texcat ~ I did receive a course evaluation sheet some time ago. If you haven't, I would certainly request one so that you will know what you are missing. I took Intro to Theatre for my V&P Arts credit. I would think the class you are taking would work, but I would ask just to be sure. Good luck!
  4. Thanks a million Bach09 for your post and best of luck to you Aggiehorn!!! I'm sure you'll do great. I know this is a very nerve racking time for all of us right now but I think venting here can really help. We share that common bond. Can't believe we really have to wait until March or April to find out. That seems like forever from now. Hopefully time will pass quickly. Good luck everyone!:)
  5. Can anyone that has interviewed already give us nervous ones a clue about what to expect??? LPSJones ~ If UTlink says your application is incomplete, that is probably what is keeping them from sending a letter. I would continue to call and have someone clarify WHY it says this? I would also ask them directly if that would affect your chances of receiving a letter or if it is because of your science gpa. Don't give up! You've worked very hard to get to this point and it would be a shame if this was due to some clerical error. Best of luck ~ let us know how things go.
  6. Hi all! Just wondering...for those of you who had interviews already, how did they go? What were they like? Fizzle Did you ever talk to UT?? Best of luck to everyone!! I hope we all get in!!!!
  7. Fizzlepop, I think they must still be sending out letters because I finally got one today ~ YEAH!! Your scores and grades are great so I am certain you will get a letter soon. Did you call today? If not, you may want to call and ask about the status of your app. Good luck!!!
  8. Fizzlepop ~ I think we're in the same boat. I had my application in by the December 1st deadline, but still have 2 prereq courses to complete this spring semester. But, this is what the web site says: "]]To be considered, you must complete at least ,Bold],Bold]40 hours ]]of the required 60 hours of prerequisite work by the program application deadline. ,Bold],Bold]8 hours]], of those 40 hours, must be from the science prerequisites of: Human Anatomy and Physiology Microbiology Chemistry If you are admitted into the program ,Bold],Bold]ALL ]]60 hours of prerequisites must be completed by the start of the program." My concern is my low score on the reading portion of the NET exam. My gpa is fine and other parts of NET as well. I keep hoping that they are still sending out letters. If you look at last years threads for the accelerated program, the invitations came throughout the month of January. How did you do on the NET? Let's keep our fingers crossed!
  9. Thanks so much for the information! I have: Nursing pre-req's = 3.92 Science pre-req's = 4.0 but..... Net math = 93 Net reading = 70 I did not attend an information session, but according to many posts on here the minimum Net is 70. I'm wondering now if they've ever taken anyone with exactly a 70. Bach09 - after pouring over many posts on here in search of all good advice, I think you will be fine. Just be confident in yourself at your interview. As for changing the date, it probably wouldn't hurt to call and ask your exact question to the people there. Surely they would be understanding of your situation. In any case, best of luck!!!!!
  10. Hi there and Happy New Year! Congratulations to everyone who has received an interview letter. I'm really bummed right now because I haven't received one. But, still hoping! I was just wondering...for those of you who did receive a letter, would you be willing to share your stats? Specifically, NET scores. My GPA's are good but I had a low reading score on the NET. Just trying to figure out if that will keep me from getting in. Best of luck to all!
