Has anyone purchased the study guides for Pharmacology for Nurses: A Pathophysiologic Approach and the one that goes with the Med-Surg textbook? I thought the Med-Surg packet came with the study guide but I didn't get it...and as far as shoes..what are your thoughts on that. Julie Ps...Jen??? Nothing yet?

That's ok...I've gotten that a few times. Ashley is my daughter. I was wondering if you guys are having a hard time finding the study guide for pharmacology for nurses. I can't find it anywhere...does it come with the book?

Danielle, I was just reading through this thread and realized I have a lot to purchase still! yikes!! Do you mind if I friend request you on facebook? It will make it easier to ask questions :) and a face with a name will be helpful! I found out my clinicals are the second half of the semester at night at CMC. Have you seen anyone else on here with that time? I've been scrolling through to try and touch base with anyone and found nothing. Getting excited :) Julie

Well..If nothing else I have a plan for the next year if this year doesn't pan out. Jen, Did you find meeting with them to go over your numbers was helpful? And what was her name again???

That's great news :) I emailed Jacquie and I'm now #2 on the list...phew! And she encouraged us to stay positive which for the most part I have been. I can't wait for the meeting next week. Enjoy the spring weather coming up! Julie

The meeting is informational...so we are prepared if we get accepted during the summer. Thank you for the information about the book. I'll be getting that sometime this summer :)

Thank you Danielle...is that book available at the bookstore or Barnes and Noble? It can't hurt to study up before September. Live...you'll be at the meeting on the 20th right? If you are we should exchange pics before so we know who to look for :) I have to say my spirits are up today and I will be calling on Monday. Enjoy the beautiful weather...I'll try to get out tomorrow but classes call grrrr.

Thank you Danielle. It's really appreciated. As you can see it's the not knowing what's going to happen that's hardest to deal with. Honestly I'm just happy to be in the running still. There's always next year right? :)

I emailed Jacquie yesterday but she's out of the office until May 3rd. I know what your saying about flip flopping between being hopeful and being sad that it's not happening this year. I'm greatly affected because I have hired and am training my replacement at work and my boss is planning for me to not be there this fall. How scary is that?!? I wanted to be fair to him in the event that I do get in but may have screwed myself in the end. We'll see. I'll let you know what I hear from Jacquie unless you know of someone else I can call to get some kind of answer before next week. Julie

Jen, It's so stressful waiting and not knowing. Of course those threads would infuriate you. I'm looking at it as, the wait will make us stronger and more appreciative of being there in September. Hopefully we will know soon :) Give Jacquie a call...you will feel better. Julie
