Hello Everyone, I am Lekali, originally from Nepal and now from Charlotte, NC. I have completed my Bachelor of Nursing(2 yrs degree) from Nepal in 2008. I am now taking pre-requisities courses for RN-BSN program in the community college. I am planning join the university in Fall 2011 for RN-BSN program in South Carolina (USC Upstate). But for the admission of RN-BSN program, I do need the RN-licence. I have passed the NCLEX exam through North Carolina Board of Nursing but did not get RN-licence because I do not have SSN# (being in F1-student visa). I found few states like Colorado, Arkansas, Texas do offer the RN-licence without SSN# as well. I am planning to apply in one of the state. My question is: After getting RN-licence in TX or CO or AK, can I do the clinical of my RN-BSN progam at University of South Carolina Upstate(USC Upstate) in SC or NC with the RN-licence in CO or TX or AK. I am in serious problem and need a help regarding this issue. Please help me with the best solution how I can continue my study in RN-BSN program. Lekali Charlotte, NC

Dear All, I am writing in this forum to get some serious suggestion regarding the problem. I have completed my nursing education (3 yrs of Intermediate Nursing and 2 years of Bachelor of Nursing) from Nepal and have passed NCLEX exam through North Carolina Board of Nursing in June 2010. I was in F2 status (dependent visa) while I appeared NCLEX exam. But now I am in F1-student visa and taking the RN-BSN pre-requisites coursed in the community college. I am planning to join the university in Fall 2011 for the completion of RN-BSN course. My RN-licence is pending at North Carolina Board of Nursing because I do not have social security number. They will not issue the RN-licence without SSN. Also, the universities do not accept the admission for RN-BSN completion course without having the valid RN-licence. I am in a great trouble. I am going to finish all my pre-requisites coursed by the summer of 2011 and if I am not admitted in the University by that time, I have to repeat the course in community college to maintain my F1 status. Do you know if I can transfer the NCLEX result to any other state and get the licence from there? Also, I have passed IELTS just enough to get admission in the community college but not enough to fulfill the requirement of Visa Screen of CGFNS. It would be a great help if anyone could suggest me which state does not required a SSN and TOEFL to release RN-licence. I will definitely appear the TOEFL while doing Visa Screening after passing my RN-BSN. I just need a RN-licence to go to the RN-BSN program. Thank you for your valuable time in reading my problem. If you have done the pearson vue trick and it gives u pop up then... you pass the exam, congratulation in advance.....:-). Relax and hope for the best and pray with god. I appeared my exam on 11th june and computer shut off after 103 questions, i was confident because no. 103 question's answer was correct, because it was the question which I always did at home. I was so wondering whether it was pass or fail, I came home and couldn't be relaxed after terrifying exam. I knew the pearson vue trick and applied it, it gives me pop up after that i got the new hope, But after 2/3 days I saw the quick results and I passeddddddd..... Yes I did it. pearson vue is correct.. if u get the page which says "u can not made registration at this time and contact to ur BoN" then take a deeeeep breath and be sure you are pass, if not and u get the Credit card page then u might fail. so this trick is 100% correct. I got many safety precaution question, may be 4/5 SATA, and 7/8 pharma. I was pretty sure of 103 question and my hope was still there. I practice lots of mgmt and pharma questions before 10days of the exam, I used Saunders 4, NCLEX 3500 individual version, and kaplan book. It all helps me alot. I think the questions are so familiar to that we used to practice. Now I am an RN. yahooo...!!!!!! I hope u will also do it. At last pray the god, and don't let it go. Good luck for everyone !!!
