  1. No, sorry. You go to your lectures one Saturday per month. Your clinicals are during the week sometime, what schedule I still don't know. You also have to go one or two times during the week, just not every week, for tests, ect. This upcoming semester I have to attend class physically 14 times, not including the clinicals. I know they make it sound like it is only done on Saturday, but 14 times really isn't bad when compared to other programs out there, especially in California. I was just wondering about the reputation of places in and around Tulsa, I have interviewed with St. Francis, OSU medical center, and hillcrest, and a few assisted livings / hospices but I was wondering if any place had a good reputation for taking care of their nurses. You know the stuff that gets passed around by word of mouth.
  2. Hi. I was recently accepted to the lpn to bsn program at ou Tulsa. I will be relocating to Tulsa from Los Angeles CA in 4 weeks. I was wondering if anyone has done or is in this program and can tell me what to expect. I have asked a few of the administrators about the required clinicals and have just received the answer of " it will be covered in detail at orientation" The problem is, is that I am looking for a job in Tulsa and have been asked on phone interviews what schedule I will have at school. At this point I have nothing to tell them. Any information, or stories of personal experience will be of help. One more thing, I have 10 years of experience as an Lpn, 8 of which has been in Hospice/home health, where is a decent place to work in the Tulsa area? Thanks for any help!!!
