  1. I accidentally pricked myself with a needle after drawing blood of a Hep B and C positive patient. The needle did not break the glove or the skin, it just left a pin mark of blood on the glove. I did not report it, because it didn't break the skin. I think I'm just paranoid, I know this is a stupid question but what are the risks of transmission if the skin was not broken?
  2. I will be graduating in May 2010 and am planning to relocate to San Francisco. My sister already lives there, so I have housing figured out. I'm finding it difficult to find information on new graduate programs at any of the area hospitals. Would it be best to call the hospitals to find out? I don't want to miss out on important application deadlines. I am planning on visiting SF the first week in May, any advice on setting up appointments would be greatly appreciated. Basically I'm just curious if the job market is still as bad for new graduate nurses as it has been in the past, specifically in SF. Any help would be great!!
