I'm from Northern California and I must say, it's tough out here! It's saturated enough that only few hospitals are hiring right now. Few people make it over the New Grad Residencies. I believe there are lots of oppurtunities out there at Texas. Several friends have moved over your area. Methodist Houston is I think currently hiring. Also, Memorial Hermann are considering applicants for June. Would you like to relocate any farther than Houston area? There are positions open for RN Staff I at Woodland Heights at Lufkin Texas. Thought you might wanna consider that. It's a small town though. Two hours away I think from Houston. Goodluck! Keep us posted.

I applied at Good Samaritan in LA too but haven't heard anything. Tried calling HR but it's always on voicemail and it says its full.

GEM0607 Me too! Which area do you prefer? I live around Bay Area and would like to work here. But I haven't found any luck yet. So I'm trying out on Southern California.

I called HR today and asked what's next about the status "forwarded to manager". She said, it's all on the manager's hands right now and they don't know the next step after that. She just said we have to wait for them. And yes, they received 425 applicants for the New Grad program. Goodluck everyone! Let's pray we get in! :)
