  1. Carolinapooh So during last fiscal year, you were placed on an alternate list as well? And Wright-Patt then contacted you when you got to your duty station? Also, did they tell you where you were on the list? I have signed for the bonus 4 years 30,000 but if money becomes available for loans my recruiter said that I will have to give 10,000 back and then can get the loan repayment. Is this what happened for you and if so did you have to give back 10,000 of the 30,000 or the percentage of 10,000 that was taxed?
  2. The Air Force and yes I have been accepted.
  3. My recruiter informed me on Monday that due to increased applicants this year the 90 available loan repayments were exhausted immediately and I was being placed on an alternate list. Just curious if anyone else is in this situation currently or if you have been in the past what your results were. Did you eventually get it or not? I was bummed when I heard this but the recruiter informed me last year he had three on that list that were as low as 24 and all eventually got it once funding either came through from the D.O.D. or physician scholarships that weren't used were given to the nurse corps for additional money.
  4. I got my third choice which was Wright-Patt and looking back I'm glad I got that because now my family is only 5 hours away in Chicago instead of a flight or 13-16 hour drive.
  5. I'm in the March COT and will be stationed at Wright-Patterson as well.
  6. Got the call last night at 6:45. Recruiter told me it was put in the system at 3:47pm yesterday. In for the March COT and will be stationed at Wright-Patterson.
  7. When you say that not many qualified RN's made the cut, do you mean for the January COT assignment or for getting in period? Also did she give you a time frame as to when the rest could be finding out?
  8. I completely agree. It just gets frustrating when everybody is asking you, "So do you get in?" or "What did you find out?" You get those messages five times a day and it gets a little frustrating but in the end I know I'll have a good answer for them!
  9. The latest I heard from my recruiter was that either today or Monday is when the non-NTP should hear by. Now we all know that should be taken with a grain of salt but this was what he told me Wednesday.
