  1. hahaha YAY FINGERS CROSSED!!! good luck! do you have a facebook? -marissa
  2. I agree with above! I took an anatomy and a general psych class. I dont think I would take more than 1 class with anatomy because you have basically 2 classes in anatomy, you have your lecture and your lab and in each of them you have either a test/quiz or lab practical. Its all memorization and easy if you dont overload yourself with too many classes! Good luck!! -Marissa
  3. hahah thank you mgalano! I have the same gpa aswell with dencent grades. How is the program so far? is it all you expected/hoped for ? I really want to get into the program and with it being so competitive im nervous but at the same time I am really really excited!! Now its all about waiting for that email.lol
  4. lol now im even more nervous! I got the occasional A's but I recieved B's and one C aswell. I was talking to one of the nursing teachers and they had said that February was one of the less competitive ones to get in oppose to the open application periods they hold in June, July and August or even October like they did in the previous year. I hope we all get in, as they said they had a hard time filling the seats! last fall/spring. FINGERS CROSSED :) I hope we get accepted to the lincoln evening program this fall! do you have a facebook?? -Marissa
  5. I applied for Lincoln Fall 2011 evening program! I submitted my application Feb 1st at 8 am!!! im so nervous to hear back! My friend who is currently in the nursing program (shes in nursing 1 for the lincoln spring semester of this year) said it took them a month and a half before they emailed people to let them know!! Good Luck everyone stay positive!! -Marissa
  6. THANK YOU! seems crazyy but worth it in the end lol! good luck!
  7. Hello, after this fall I will be all done with my Nursing pre-reqs and will be applying to the program either for this January for the daytime or for fall 2011 for the evening. I am still deciding on which one to apply to depending if my work schedule is going to change in the near future. Is there any difference between the daytime and night time nursing classes and clinicals? thank you! -Marissa
  8. hey i just looked on the site and the only time it was open from January 4th to the 15 was earlier this year in January 2010. Was there a link to where you saw that they are doing the same thing in 2011 as well? thanks !! -Marissa
  9. good to know I did not see that open application period for Jan 4th to the 15th yet! good luck in intro to health and to answer your question yes, i took it in my first semester at ccri straight out of high school, its a very easy class you will do great! just alot of memorization but easy! Micro is very easy as well! better than anatomy and physiology! Im just hoping to pass Physiology with a B- this time.lol. -Marissa
  10. I am in the same boat as you!! I have all but 1 pre-req done! Fall 2010 I will be retaking Human Physiology, ended up getting a C+ but needed the B-. August 9th I will be taking my TEAS test and I would like to get into the Lincoln Nursing Day program in the spring of 2011. I too wanted to know if I can apply in October because I had seen an open application period on CCRI'S nursing page, and I had went to the advisors and had no luck they gave me the run around! Hopefully they let us apply without us having all of our classes done by a certain time, we will be midway through our class at that point anyways! Have you gotten all your shots yet? im stiill in the process. I hope we are able to apply in October for January! if you hear anything let me know and vice versa! good luck in your upcomming classes! -Marissa
  11. Thank you jmdallacosta! im think im going to apply to the Lincoln campus. I took clases there before and liked the school alot! Hope everything is well!
  12. Thank you MrsPeep, I did take some pre-requisites at the lincoln campus and liked it alot! :)
  13. Thank you guys! Some just say that at certain campus's there are teachers that teach the program better by getting the information to everyone easier. I was just looking to see where people may have taken the program at and what their experiances had been.
  14. I will soon be done with my pre-requisites for the nursing program at CCRI and I was just wondering, out of the four campus's (lincoln, knight, liston and newport) which is the better one to take the program at? thanks!
  15. i will be taking microbiology this summer (2010), really nervous!
