Hey everyone, I am hoping to be in nursing school soon, but I have a few more prerequisites to take. My question for you guys is if you ever really need your prerequisite books for anything while in nursing school? I kept my anatomy book because I thought that would be helpful maybe but in your opinion is it worth it to keep the physiology, nutrition, or microbiology textbooks? I'm trying to decide whether I should rent them or buy them for this semester.. Thanks! Ashley

I will be graduating soon with my BS in Psych. I recently realized Nursing is where I want to be and now I'm starting to apply to schools but I was wondering, can I also apply to traditional nursing programs if I already have a BS in another degree?

This may be a really dumb question but... Is Intro to A&P considered A&P I, making A&P considered as A&P II?

Hey all you CNA's! I am currently looking into taking a CNA cert. course and job searching at the same time, so I was wondering if anyone could help me out by telling me what to look for in job titles for jobs that CNA's qualify for? Obviously job titles with RN or NP are out of the question, but do job titles specifically say CNA or would CNA's be overqualified for jobs such as Mental Health Techs, etc? (This may be a very stupid question and I hope it makes sense.. basically, what job titles do you CNA's hold/have held? I'm looking to go to nursing school but thought about getting the CNA for experience beforehand.) Thanks! :)

I was wondering if anyone had anything to say or any advice about ABSN programs as I am starting my application process for these programs (I am receiving my BS in Psych in May and want to be a PMHNP someday!). Also, what did people do for money for the duration of the program? Financial aid? Scholarships? I'm just looking for specifics because I will soon be needing funding for a good year/year and half without having a job and would love some advice about the financial side or in general..
