NMC delay and put on queue this 2013. waiting for decision letter
.. if you apply to nmc and recieve your packs dont worry about ielts expiring some university can consider if your ielts expired.. the only reason i can say with the delays is that there are really a lot of applicants.. when i went to the NMC office they where able to show which number i am in and how long it would possibly take before they can assess my documents.. they dont overlap with the old applicants.. everything is entered into the computer system so basically its not manual.. also some cases are really complicated that it takes very long time to assess.. one thing also is they dont have much staff to deal with the assessment of application.. thats as far as i know..

About nursing experience i only have 9 months after i got my PRC license, 3 months is without my license yet but it didnt matter..i also include work experience i did when i just finish my nursing and its even in the community. Hospital doesnt need to be 100 beds too, so dont worry about those things just as long you have a nursing experience it countd. Also experience of being a carer or nursing assistant you can include in the form.. you are assess on an individual basis this small things can make a difference. The only important thing is answering those forms and it has to be clear even the simplest mistake, they will ask you for replacement. So goodluck everyone, its not very easy this days now but it is still possible.- NMC delay and put on queue this 2013. waiting for decision letter
My advise to those who are in England applying for NMC registration. Go directly to the office for follow up, if you finished the first 90 days you shouldnt be waiting for 90 days to come. I did the same and 3 wks i have my decision letter. Even when submitting documents during your application, it's way better than sending on post.- NMC delay and put on queue this 2013. waiting for decision letter

Hi..Have anyone from UK had experience with remarking their IELTS. I am planning to go for a remarking as well as it is already my 2nd attempt and still they gave me 6.5 in writing. I have read some threads saying their remarks have increased as well, so I hope mind will increase too. Today, I called my test centre and they say it would take 3 months. I thought it would be lesser since it's in UK. They said it's because they will be sending it to London or even Australia. Anyway, i'll have mind remarked this week and I hope the rest will keep us all updated with their remarks as well.- New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2
Yep, i understand that, anyway it was meant to be 2 years in order to get an honour degree, but i exit the course early because of some changes with the UKBA so i did not finish the last semester, that ended me with only a degree and not the honours award..i took the ielts as well but had only got 6.5 in writing..so have to retake again.. thanks for the reply, much appreciated..:)- New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2
Newbie here. Been reading this thread in months now. But i have a question to ask since i can't find someone similar with my case. I am a Phil-RN and had a few months experience as nurse around 2 years ago. But currently i'm only working as a healthcare assistant here in the UK, and at the same time, i finished a nursing degree (BsC Int'l Nsg), unfortunately this still did not qualify me for registration as a nurse here. So there, i want to ask now if i'm going to apply for registration in AHPRA, do you think i should include this in my CV, my work experience as HCA and so with the degree i earned here in UK?..:) TIA forumers..- International Student Advisors 4U
@urgexxx69..PM for all your queries.. anyway i'm under ISA with that course of international nursing..which is actually useless..your going to do essay's of thousand words and it's not that easy to pass..even if you finish that course you wont work as a nurse..it's also very expensive to go to university days cause we have to stay in a lodge for a week..the promise of post study work is not guaranteed too..you will be the one to work it out not ISA..and of course you have to pay for it..2k pounds i think.. it's not the work that matters..but the cost of living even if you budget all your expenses it's still not enough..that 100-120k pesos salary a month is too good to be true..accomodation,transportation and food is very expensive here..it's better if you have experience and pass your IELTS..apply as a nurse and you will enjoy your life here and still be able to send money back home.. if you will spend 500k or more for a student visa, i tell you it's a waste of money..with that two years you won't be able to pay your debts..you will go home with no savings..it's a shame but that's the real situation here.. and for your info..watch the news on inquirer.net,people from such agencies were detained as of yesterday..- International Student Advisors 4U
..sure life is hard..but it is still great to work as nurse abroad..not caregiver..you won't stop regreting once you are here already..better yet tiis mg-experience sure it will be worth it rather than rushing..the money you will spend applying for SV will just be what you are going to earn here..you will go home back to basic again..whats worst your mind is already outdated with nursing.. think very hard guys..- International Student Advisors 4U
u.. well easy to say,.thats your opinion,.but you should also think that you can not be an RN after this course..you will still need to have 1 yir experience in the phil.and must past your ielts..you will work in as carer of course, worst if they let you do laundry, kitchen and cleaning..toilets,bullied by racist, and your not allowed to transfer and the post study work visa that they promise after your course will cost you 5thousand pounds to get it..and ISA will not be assisting you.. school is not that easy..you stay in a hotel during a week for 4 times a year..expensive..you will do essay..2k-7.5k words..its not that easy..you will do 2 essay per sem.. 3 of my batch will be going home soon..that's how hard life is here..so if you have a choice think very hard..going abroad does not always mean a better future..you will be earning that 600k for two years before you know it your visa ends..there is no way for you to get a work permit.. dare me,you will regret it..a 100 %.. goodluck..- International Student Advisors 4U
to everyone: i'm under the 2 year course in UH..and yes everything you have said is true..about study connect and job connection..yes they are one..the job connection is just located in uk..they have also conection with ISA regarding the degree course in UH..so with another agency study international..the course in UH is like a business arrangement between the school and agency..everything you will decide to do with ur course and placement you must let ISA know or else you will be sent home that is a rule agreed by the agency and school..it's a degree leading to nothing...they have fooled us..especially those who are qualified...with experience and passed IELTS..sure the school know they can take ONP already but still they are saying that they must finish the course before aplying to ther NMC..that is s waste of time and money.. and yes ISA is still sending student her in uk until now..lot of them still have no work..some are trying to put the agency down..but still they are indestructable..with plenty of money..sure they can manipulate everythings..and still continue to fool students not only nurses. one of our classmate already went home simply because..he was trauamtize by how the ISA staff treat him here..- International Student Advisors 4U
i know that very well..as i've said this SV has nothing to do with my nursing career..- International Student Advisors 4U
It a good think i found this forum specifically fo ISA applicant..I also applied to the same agency..i started my application on july 9..i finish all the process and was granted with SV on oct 27..good thing i only waited for 3 days..anyway like the rest its had been a very long time waiting..i was suppose to be with the nov.intake until it was moved and moved until now, they said it will be on january but no assurance yet since i dont have exact schedule yet..as for the delay they explained it to us..the only thing that is clear to us is that they have so many applicant waiting,,like for the caregivers..from sept.up to now they have not yet left..considering they have there visa already..i am enrolled in UH for a degree course..which i know would not benefit me which regard to my nursing career, unless someday i would be able to pass my IELTS and have a 1 yr exp...i paid 500k all in excluding alawance when i will get there and other expenses like medical insurance, bnk acount etc..so it would sum up to 600k.. as much as i regret my application there is nothing i can do than to fly to UK..with so many good and bad newsabout SV in UK..i dont know what to expect in UK..i just hope and pray i would be on the good side.. As an update,ISA is continue growing..there are updates like the NHS which no longer exist because of some problems with the working hours i think..also they have new affiliated schools in the UK still and in Scotland..flocking of applicant still continues..well i can not blame them for the life here in the phil..exp is not very easy to find..imagine thousand of nurses everywhere..where do we go..it's all up to us..that's all... well i just hope i will get intouch with the rest of ISA applicant here..i will continue updating on how did i go with my application with ISA..so it would be of help to those like me who is always looking for an answer..i simply hope and pray it would be good for me..though i know there are lots of bad news about SV..but i the only thing left for me is to pray..U goodluck to everyone... - NMC delay and put on queue this 2013. waiting for decision letter
