The HESI for LVN does not have any BIOL/science on it. Just the old reading written' n rithmatic. Know your fractions and measurement conversions, quarts per gal, pints per gal, ml per l, ect.

I got one today also. They go by your HESI score (96 for me) according to the information I found.

It just stresses me out. I assume rejection until I hear other wise. It makes life much more pleasent.

Uhhhmmm...44 years young padawan. I am "retiring" this month from my job. I have Masters degree but I am ready for a second career. I worked as a Paramedic my first time through college. I live in Friendswood and would never live in Galveston, nor subject my kids to the schools down there. IMO having lived/worked in this area 4 decades.

Yea, I had 40 pnts with accuplacer. The switch to TEAS cut me by 20 pnts. I had taken the full TEAS for another school and did well but COM just picked out the reading score to calculate points.

According to the trantional thread nothing is moving again until the 26 th. Who knows...ZZzzz...

I have applied for the Sp term. I have 124 pnts. Great to hear about the low number of applicants. I also have aps pending at UTMB but that is one slow moving train over there.

Have you started at COM? I see you on the "other" school also. How is the COM program? I finally applied for the SP 2012 program at COM. Tired of waiting on the :other: school!

Sound just like the speech the student gave at the open house a few weeks back. Good info. I was also glad to hear that each class is taken back to back and not all at the same time. As for the TEAS scores...they said that those were mainly used as a screening tool and not so much as a ranking tool. The impression I got was that it goes by pass/ fail or groups i.e. everyone over 80 ect.

I am also going to apply for the bacc2 program. I applied to the reg program for this August and have not heard a peep. On last years thread some were given the choice to accept either program during the fall application period. On the thread for the reg program someone went to an open house and was told if you have 3.4 (I think it was) on your first degree you will be admitted. I did not hear that but you can look through all the threads to find it.

You should go to TWU. That is the better choice.

Congrats! At least you know you have a spot somewhere. UTMB was my only app this time. In the fall I will take the shot gun approach and lock up several spots around the state while I ponder my options.

And now they have opened up the application period for Spring 2012. Guess those folks will find something out in November.

For those with MYSTAR Problems try using the original password they sent you. Mine just worked. ( I like pushing the Accept Admission button for fun)
