  1. Getting licensed in another state after vountarily surrendering in another

    I was a licensed nurse (RN) in the state of Alabama and underwent drug treatment (3 mos in patient) and (6 months in a women's recovery house). I was working while being monitored under the Al ADAP program. Even though I remained clean and passed all drug screens, I was not keeping up with my paperwork as I should and was slacking on my program. I moved back to Florida and voluntarily surrendered my nursing license to the ABON. It is now three years later and I am enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program for Health Care Administrator here in Fl. I wish to try and get a nursing license in the state of Florida, but am unsure where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
