  1. You said you knew early on...that's a lie!! No one knows for sure early on what they want to do, you won't know anesthesia is right for you until you get into school. I have friends that got in and started and dropped out b/c it wasn't for them. I'm lucky enough to get into school and love what I'm studying so it makes it easy to study 7-8 hours a day everyday. You can all prepare to get into anesthesia school, but 70% of you won't, and if you do be prepared to make the biggest sacrifice of your life!
  2. 2025 all entering CRNA's must have DNAP or DNP
  3. I got a disorderly conduct a few years back when I was young and stupid. The school sent me a form to fill out about arrest and conviction records and if I was ever convicted of a crime other than a minor traffic violation. Do I circle yes or no?? Has anyone not gotten into school b/c of this before? I've already been accepted! Input is very appreciated!
  4. Most programs don't require organic or physics. For the schools that don't request them, they don't help nor hurt an application. Your stats are good enough to get an interview, some schools (I believe) make their choices of who they're accepting off the application alone, and some schools base their decision a lot on the interview. You have to impress them and show them you have exceptional clinical knowledge and also have good social skills and get along with the interviewers. If you have ok stats and great interview your probably in, if you have great stats and great interview you're definitely in. I had ok stats, got 2 interviews, killed the interviews and got into both schools.
  5. Actually from Pittsburgh, PA...... 3.2 overall gpa, 3.8 bsn gpa, 980 gre, ccrn, charge nurse..... Just getting an interview was the hard part for me. I interview well. Good luck to you in getting in!
  6. Just got home from an interview in Texas today and got a letter that I was accepted into UNCC-CMC program.....WOOHOO!! Now I just have to make my decision! Goodluck hopeful! THey said they were sending out e-mails, not letters!! That was just rude!
  7. Has anyone that interviewed at UNCC-CMC heard back from them yet, if they are accepted or denied?? It's been a week since the interview tomorrow and I'm getting a little anxious!
  8. was accepted after interview yesterday at TWU... still waiting to hear which clinical site I will be at, and then I can make my choice if I will attend!! Anyone else going to be living around Fort Worth the first year?
  9. woohoo congrats!! Did they tell you right after the interview if you were accepted or not?? Mine is the 14th I hope they left a spot for me! Hahaha
  10. My girlfriend got an interview offer via e-mail yesterday. I have yet to receive one though, I'm starting to get nervous! Interviews aren't until February 19/20th so I'm hoping they are offering more.
  11. I called them yesterday to ask when the interviews (if we get them) will be held. They said they were rescheduling their interview dates around and will probably be in February sometime. She said it would probably be another week or two before we hear anything.
  12. i still have not yet heard from northeastern... has anyone heard from them?
  13. TWU interview is Jan. 14th.... Anybody know of any good topics to study for the interview? I just passed my CCRN, so I'm hoping that knowledge all pays off! I also heard TWU interviews all qualified applicants is this correct?
  14. when did you all apply to TWU?? I just got mine in at the beginning of November.
  15. nope not yet, my g/f got a call from TWU today saying she was missing something so I'm assuming they just started reviewing them.
