  1. Hello, I need some help over here! I am a RN with a BSN, currently in NYC and employed in a infertility practice.. I always wanted to work in a hospital but all my applications are turned down because I do not have the '1-2 yrs experience required'. So my question is, how the hell I am supposed to get them if nobody will give me a job in a hospital? I've been looking through the new grads programs that some hospitals have, but the main issue is that i studied abroad. Any ideas on how I can start getting positive feedback? I've been in this infertility practice for a year now and I really want to move on. I even thought about getting a master's, do you think that will help? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks so much.
  2. Thanks for your help! =) So I should at least get the BLS certification. At least it's something... I'll look for it at AHA.org =)
  3. Hello. I'm a newbie here! =) I have this question that I've been googling and just gets me more and more confused. I'm a foreign nurse and just moved to NYC. It seems that here the certifications you get during/after school are reeeeeeeeeeeeeally important. I'm talking about ACLS, PALS, etc etc... I wanted to know your opinion about the ones that you think that are the most important and where (website, offices) can I get more information. I've googled some and I get a bunch of different websites with different prices. Help? thanks a lot! =)
